Los Angeles [US], April 19 (ANI): Gamers have something to look forward to with the announcement of a new ‘Star Wars’ video game set to release next year.
According to Variety, Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm are collaborating on “Star Wars Zero Company,” a new single-player turn-based tactics game that takes place during the Clone Wars period within the Star Wars galaxy.
Created by Bit Reactor alongside Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games, “Star Wars: Zero Company” invites players to assume the role of Hawks, a former Republic officer, leading a skilled team of covert agents through a harsh narrative grounded in the waning days of the Clone Wars. This eclectic group of seasoned mercenaries from various corners of the universe must put aside their disagreements to confront overwhelming challenges and neutralize a growing menace poised to engulf the entire galaxy should it remain unopposed.
The game, unveiled during Star Wars Celebration Japan on Saturday, will feature an array of fresh Star Wars characters who can be customized as part of the player’s team.
“Zero Company: Star Wars” is set for release in 2026 on PC, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S consoles. (ANI)
