On Tuesday, the Lahore Arts Council launched a two-day painting workshop entitled “How to Prepare a Canvas” scheduled from April 29th to 30th (Tuesday to Wednesday). This initiative was designed to foster both fundamental and modern artistic abilities among budding artists. Held at the Alhamra Academy of Performing Arts, the event attracted many enthusiastic young individuals passionate about refining their talents and delving into innovative approaches within visual arts.
Prominent artist and facilitator Mian Athar conducted sessions focused on various aspects including creative methodologies, analytical vision, and current international tendencies in the field of painting. Through these discussions, he provided both conceptual understanding and hands-on instruction, encouraging younger attendees to broaden their perspective towards art creatively.
Syed Touqeer Haider Kazmi, who serves as the Executive Director of the Lahore Arts Council, highlighted the impressive capabilities and keen intellects possessed by local youths.
