BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Jennie Soar to New Heights on Global Charts

BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Jennie continue to make a mark on both the U.K. and U.S. charts with their solo projects.

As of April 25, Rosé’s hit “APT.” held steady on the U.K. Official Charts, dropping just two spots to 18th, marking its 27th consecutive week on the list. The track first entered the top 5 in October 2024, peaking at number 4, and has since remained in the top 3, even securing the number 2 spot for six weeks in a row.

Jennie’s solo track “Like JENNIE” climbed five positions to 48th, maintaining its place for the seventh consecutive week. The title track from Jennie’s debut album

Ruby

has garnered significant attention due to her involvement in both writing and composing the song. After debuting at 36th in March, it has steadily held its ground between the 40th and 60th positions, enjoying ongoing popularity.

In the U.S., “APT.” continues to make waves. As of April 22, the song set a new record for the longest-charting K-pop single by a female artist on the Billboard Hot 100. It has remained at number 13 for 26 weeks, surpassing the previous record of 25 weeks held by the K-pop group FIFTY FIFTY with their hit “Cupid.” Among all K-pop songs, BTS’s Jimin’s solo track “Who” holds the record for the longest Hot 100 tenure.

“APT.” also earned nominations in two categories at the upcoming American Music Awards (AMAs): “Collaboration of the Year” and “Favorite K-pop Artist.” The ceremony will take place on May 26 in Las Vegas.

Jennie’s return to the U.S. charts is equally noteworthy. Her track “Like JENNIE” re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 96 last week, boosted by her performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 13. Following her set, the song saw a significant rise in rankings, and Jennie became the only K-pop artist to feature in Billboard’s “Hot Performances” list for Coachella’s first week.
