Davido Crowned Best Digital Artist at the 17th Headies Awards

The acclaimed Afrobeat artist David Adeleke, who goes by the stage name Davido, was honored with the Best Digital Artiste of the Year award at the 17th edition of the Headies Awards.

A fitting crown, given his remarkable impact across various streaming services and digital realms.

Davido’s collaborative track, “Ogechi Remix” with Hyce, Boypee, and Brown Joel, also received multiple nominations.

The Headies, an awards ceremony honoring outstanding achievements in Nigeria’s music sector, took place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, during its 17th edition at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos.

The event gathered some of the industry’s biggest stars in a night of high-profile performances and recognitions.

Other major winners included Zerry DL, Tems, Funke Akindele, and Rema.
