Explore Rising and Renowned Artists at the Mango Art Festival

The Mango Art Festival will return, offering everyone an opportunity to revel in the impact of art over five days at River City Bangkok, located at Charoenkrung Road 24, from May 7th through May 11th.

Thailand’s premier art extravaganza, recognized for its extensive scope, gathers art enthusiasts in a single location. This event will feature trailblazing art exhibitions and stimulating displays that unite individuals from different nations under the unifying theme of “A Connected World.”

Showcasing the links between concepts and cultural expressions, enlivened through the contributions of artists, galleries, curators, collectors, and art professionals, this festival merges Thailand’s dynamic artistic landscape with global contemporary viewpoints.

It presents a chance to encounter both Thai and global artists, stay current with recent developments in the artistic world, and appreciate artworks displayed by top-tier galleries. Additionally, this event serves as a stage for up-and-coming artists to exhibit their remarkable creations, fostering potential partnerships down the line.

This year’s event honors three artistic disciplines—visual arts, design and performing arts, as well as music—through five distinct areas.

The “Special Exhibition Zone” will feature a carefully selected group of renowned artists who have made their mark in Thailand’s contemporary art world, such as Piya Charoenmuang, Vayupad Ruttanapet, Rakfha Chartnarin, Tweesak Romnee, Wannita Tankeng, and Suchaya Thongrom.

The “Newcomer Zone” serves as an exclusive area for up-and-coming artists taking their initial steps in the art scene. Meanwhile, the “Independent Artist Zone” will showcase myriad unique pieces from more than 50 independent creators, each highlighting their individual styles, techniques, and color palettes.

Gathering leading galleries from Thailand and overseas, the “Gallery Zone” seeks to promote shared insights, networking, and creative inspiration. Acting as an ultimate retail destination during the event, the “Craft Zone” will showcase a dynamic array of handicrafts, design pieces, and handcrafted artworks across different styles.

Highlights also encompass an art business matchmaking program aimed at linking artists with galleries and multiple Thai and international brands, along with seminars, workshops, musical performances, and art exhibitions.
