Artists have initiated a fresh collective endeavor called Night Library, aiming to infuse daily existence with distinctive art prints.
Night Library provides a platform for local talent to share their works and gain recognition at home and abroad. By making art more accessible, the project aims to bridge the gap between creators and the wider community.
An assortment of artists such as A KID FROM YESTERDAY, 130.pdf, Kx2DK, and Ronnakorn along with Jitta employ the giclée printing method, utilizing inkjet technology, to produce striking, high-quality art pieces suitable for museums.
Examples of their creations encompass “Temporary, Forever” by Natthaphat Lueangrungthip, an independent designer and creative strategist. This piece explores the role of posters, pondering whether they hold significance when oscillating between practicality and aesthetics.
“Gas Storm” is an instant captured amidst flames and haze. This vivid portrayal conveys the fierce energy of a demonstration cloaked in tear gas—a chilling picture of defiance, turmoil, and bravery. “Urban Pulse,” meanwhile, depicts a fleeting instance when vibrant violet lightning splits the heavens. Taken by Ong Asadawut, a photographer with The MATTER, this image communicates profound messages silently, without uttering a sound.
In the meantime, “The Room Of Going Nowhere” by Noweenilan stands as an vacant area awaiting occupants who can imbue it with extraordinary elements. Noweenilan is a graphic artist whose entire life has been devoted to art and design. From her early years, she delved into various creative avenues, merging influences with innovative concept testing.
“Prospect” by Ratchanon Boongsrithong, an artist and typographer captivated by sketching and letterforms, is a poetic work marked by frenzied, nearly hostile scrawls that have been partly obliterated. These remnants imply narratives of toil, dedication, and fortitude, conjuring up a space where individuality emerges from collective exertions yet stays entwined with the specter of a prevailing authority.
