YouTube personality Oga Obinna and comedian Mulamwah have engaged in an online altercation.
Obinna mentioned that he and the comedian got along well, and he has never viewed Mulamwah as an adversary.
He noted that they pursue different arts in the industry.
“I’m bracing for conflict, yet I can’t comprehend why I now find myself entangled in situations unrelated to me. I simply want to focus on my own affairs. Allow me to provide some background on the Mulamwah incident. Here’s what transpired: I wasn’t aware that I had been blocked by Mulamwah since I didn’t regard him as an adversary, and I still don’t. Our paths diverge significantly, and he poses no threat within my professional sphere. However, even if he were a threat, healthy competition is crucial for thriving in business.” He explained this perspective.
He shared his experience of discovering that the comedian had blocked him on April 20, even as his friend Obnna tried to join Mulamwah’s stand-up comedy performance.
His friends were able to view Mulamwah’s page, but he couldn’t. Obinna realized that Mulamwah had blocked him on Ruth K’s page.
The YouTube personality alleged that Mulamwah had control over his former partner’s accounts.
“I planned to skip his performance until someone mentioned it. I began wondering whether he had shown up at the event, and then thought to myself, hmm, do I get ignored? If others look, though, they’ll notice. Afterward, I figured I’d examine my spouse’s profile and found out, oh wow, I’m also barred from seeing. But here’s the twist: Mulamwah manages both accounts. This intrigued me, so I chose not to pry.”
Obinna stated that the conflict with Mulamwah originated from the time he began working with Dem Wa FB.
The comedian had dissuaded Dem Wa FB from collaborating with Obinna, asserting that he was past his prime in the business.
When I began collaborating with Dem Wa FB, I wasn’t aware that Mulamwah had an issue with me. It was then that I grasped the full extent of the situation. Mulamwah informed her not to work with me since ‘Obinna has finished; he’s betrayed’ along with several other claims made by both Dem Wa FB and our manager. As she initially felt stressed and under pressure during those early days, I asked her about what troubled her. She responded saying she’d been told various things. During this discussion, everything came out into the open.
He stated that the comedian refused to collaborate with Mulamwah because he was miserly and barely compensated her and her agent.
Obinna mentioned that he allowed all of Dem Wa FB’s comments to pass without response.
She and her manager mentioned, “We don’t wish to collaborate with Mulamwah anymore because despite having worked with him extensively, he doesn’t compensate us properly. This includes numerous assignments where we’ve put in significant effort. Even though Mulamwah received payment, we didn’t receive ours. During shoots at his location, basic necessities like meals weren’t provided either.” Initially stunned by these revelations, we chose not to voice our concerns directly. Instead, we moved forward and created remarkable projects together. It later came out that all along he had been involved in some dubious activities on the side; however, both of us simply dismissed those rumors and carried on with our lives as usual.
He pleaded with Mulamwah to pardon him as he had not made any remarks about his son’s appearance.
