Rugby School Nigeria Expands: New Year 7 Class Launches in September, Alongside Sixth Form

Rugby School Nigeria is pleased to share that starting from September 2025, they will inaugurate their Year 7 (for students aged 11 and above). This launch coincides with the recently introduced Sixth Form (Year 12) A Level program at their state-of-the-art facility located in @ekoatlantic City within bustling Lagos.

This advancement has been achieved due to the exceptional progress provided by the school’s top-tier project management and construction crews. Their commitment and skill have guaranteed that the facilities will be prepared to receive students at both intake stages before the commencement of the next academic year.

In the Year 7 syllabus, students will receive a comprehensive, equitable, and progressive education rooted in the principles of the Rugby Learner Profile. The program encompasses an extensive array of scholarly and artistic disciplines—such as English, math, science, social studies, fine arts, foreign languages, and self-growth—with a pronounced focus on fostering inquiry, courage, and integrity. Resources available will consist of modernized learning spaces, a stocked library, athletic amenities, a swimming facility, and a stage for performances.

Dr. Adam England from Rugby School Nigeria shared his thoughts: “We are delighted to announce the admission of our inaugural Year 7 students this September, joining our trailblazing Sixth Form group. This marks an important milestone as we advance towards achieving the vision for Rugby School Nigeria—a learning institution guided by Rugby’s ‘Whole Person, Whole Point’ ethos, fostering growth and development in all aspects for each student.”

Rugby School Nigeria aims to bring the values and high-quality education of Rugby School UK to a fresh cohort of students across West Africa. Emphasizing rigorous academics, cutting-edge pedagogy, and personal development, this institution plans to provide top-tier schooling within a distinctly Nigerian setting. “We’re merely at the start,” asserts Dr England. “By September 2026, we will introduce dormitory facilities along with all grade levels, fostering an exceptional milieu for both study and living.”
